In the past few months, the news has been peppered with various car recalls. The most recent recall, for Dodge and Jeep SUVs, came out on Wednesday morning. The Fiat Chrysler Automobile group, which owns Dodge, Jeep, and others, said that the recall is to fix the fuel heater and electronic stability system.

In 2014 alone, car makers have recalled over 52 million vehicles. However, cars are not the only products that can be defective and cause injuries. Over the years toy companies, furniture companies, and more have advertised recalls due to finding out that their products may not be safe. Be sure to get your car checked out if it is listed in car recalls, and do the same for any other recalls.

At 70yrs. of age, I have never been in a car accident, nor have I ever had a moving violation! So, needless to say, that the trauma of being involved in an accident that I did not cause, where my car, (which was only 6mos. old) was totaled!) and I received 2 broken bones in my left ankle that warrented surgery…was nothing short of devastating!
