Rob Law Memorial Golf Tournament Raises Money for Medical Research
In 2005, Freeburn Law founder, father, son, husband, and brother, Rob Law, died suddenly at the age of 38. It was later found that he suffered from Cardiac Sarcoidosis, though he showed no symptoms and appeared to be in good health. In his memory, the Rob Law Memorial Golf Tournament was created to raise funds for the Penn State Hershey Heart and Vascular Institute.
The 9th Annual Rob Law Memorial Golf Tournament was held a few weeks ago on October 10th, 2014 at the Hershey Country Club. As usual, the attorneys at Freeburn Law participated in the day's activities. Workers' compensation attorney, Stephen A. Schneider, and his team won the tournament! Roughly 200 people attended this year's event and about $30,000 was raised for the Penn State Hershey Heart and Vascular Institute.
