Recently, Dick Freeburn of Freeburn Law and Bob Einsel of the Pennsylvania State Police Museum visited ABC 27's Good Day PA to discuss the museum’s Historical, Educational, and Memorial Center (HEMC) with host Amy Kehm. A clip of the segment is available below.
About the Pennsylvania State Police Historical, Educational, & Memorial Center
The Pennsylvania State Police Historical Center collects, preserves, and exhibits significant artifacts relevant to the 100-year history of the department. These exhibits include vehicles, uniforms, archival footage, crime-scene paraphernalia, and more.
The Educational Center serves as a training and research center with classrooms for special programs and lectures. Here, law enforcement agencies and the public can learn highly technical and complex forensics and police sciences
The Memorial Center recognizes both current and former members who have proudly served our citizens while upholding the law and reinforcing the traditions of the Department. The center’s wall pays respect to the brave officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Visiting the Museum
The Pennsylvania State Police HEMC is located behind the Pennsylvania State Police Academy in Hershey. The facility hosts tour groups, school field trips, and individual visitors each weekday from 10:00am to 4:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Their postal address is:
