Stephen A. Schneider has joined a select group of Pennsylvania lawyers to earn the high distinction of becoming PA Certified as Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law. In 2012,  the Pennsylvania Supreme Court approved the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section’s request to certify lawyers in the area of workers’ compensation law. In 2013, only 149 lawyers and only 32 lawyers in 2014 were certified PA workers’ compensation lawyer.

Mr. Schneider, successfully completed the 2014  process to be named as Certified PA workers’ compensation lawyer by submitting a variety of documents showing that at least 50% of his legal practice  is in the specialty field of workers’ compensation, that he has practiced in the field for more than 5 years, and that he actively participates in the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education in workers’ compensation law and related fields. Mr. Schneider then  passed the challenging and rigorous certification examination for certified PA workers’ compensation lawyer that focuses on workers’ compensation law and rules and leading cases.

Injured workers in Pennsylvania now have valuable information when looking for a competent PA workers’ compensation lawyer to represent them.  There are only 181 attorneys in Pennsylvania that have earned the distinction of becoming  PA Certified as a Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law. Mr. Schneider is now a member of this select group of attorneys.

At 70yrs. of age, I have never been in a car accident, nor have I ever had a moving violation! So, needless to say, that the trauma of being involved in an accident that I did not cause, where my car, (which was only 6mos. old) was totaled!) and I received 2 broken bones in my left ankle that warrented surgery…was nothing short of devastating!
