Freeburn Law supports Melissa Edwards 5K Run/Walk

The 5th Annual Melissa Edwards 5K Run/Walk was held this past Saturday, April 27th.

Freeburn & Law founder and personal injury lawyer Richard E. Freeburn was among nearly 200 people who participated in the 5th Annual Melissa Edwards 5K Run/Walk.

Freeburn Law was also a sponsor of the event, which raised more than $10,000 for the Womelsdorf Community Library.

The event honors Melissa Edwards, who died in a car accident in 2008 when she was a 17-year-old junior at Conrad Weiser High School. Freeburn Law was privileged to represent the Edwards family.

More people participated in this year’s Melissa Edwards 5K Run/Walk than ever before, said Bruce Edwards, Melissa’s father.
